Spirit of Christmas

It's November, but I'm one of those people. When my friend told me she had tickets for Spirit of Christmas at Olympia I was like urm...yes. It's basically a Christmas fair with loads of stalls of gifts, christmas decorations, food and general Christmassy goodness. I thought I'd share some pics to force you all into the spirit too.

Honestly, if only you could smell that candle and all the Christmas spice from the orange zest. Heaven. There were some lovely stalls with show discounts like 20% off Green & Spring. I managed to tick a few people of the list and get myself a few presents like that incredible Swarovski crystal print from Counting Stars.

Are you getting up to anything Christmassy soon?

WHAT TO BUY RIGHT NOW! A/W

WHAT TO BUY RIGHT NOW! A/W
Mac Liner - Beurre

Hello A/W, hello new coats (let's not lie to ourselves, we know we will buy more than one). The duster jacket is big for A/W and I think it will stick around with some amazing brights showing up at New Look, incredible patterns at River Island and classic cuts over at Missguided. Not a fan? Let's just admire the bomber jacket for some time. So in love with this Missguided one right now, proceeds to checkout...

After a long sun filled frolicking Summer, I always have loads of new photos, little tickets and travel souvenirs. I have one of these frames and they are beautiful. They open up, so you can slide more than one photo, ticket, pressed flower etc inside and are tres retro chic.

Getting one new item of makeup not only pleases me (yay, new makeup), but is an easy way to change or update your entire routine. I freaking love the Mac Cremestick Liner in Beurre if you have been falling in love with Kylie Jenner's recent make up looks, you need this. It's always sold out, but give the department stores a whirl (you can check the colour, no filter on my instagram here)

Just like the item of make up, a small accessory can really cheer up your wardrobe. Add a floppy hat, fedora or slogan beanie for an on-trend update. Especially good if you are suppose to be curbing your spending habits because what's one hat between friends? No judging here.

As we wave goodbye to Summer, lets brighten up. Places like Dunelm Mill, TK Maxx & this gorgeous little site, Peony have really affordable artificial flowers, these ones are a cute and bright alternative to the picture and super cheap. If you have a bit more cash, take a look at the Pink selection at Peony here.

Hope you like my suggestions and are feeling inspired for the seasonal change. I'm kinda looking forward to boots and scarves, are you?

Bedroom Inspiration

Hi guys! Apologies for being a little MIA on the blog this week - sadface. We launched a new project at work this week, so I've had no spare time - sadface. Boo to real life jobs ay?

This blog post is a quick one, but I have some 'proper' ones planned that I will hopefully get sorted this weekend. In the meantime, here's some bedroom inspo I have been pinning on my Pinterest account. Both my Mum and Dad managed to get some epic jobs down in London - exciting - and they are kindly letting me, my brother and sister stay in the family pad! Of course, that means I am totally taking over their old bedroom, so I've begun thinking about how to decorate...

I really like these cosy-i-don't-want-to-get-out-of-bed styles and I need to be careful as my boyfriend is moving in, so I can't go heavy on the florals or girly frills. I also really want some giant desk lamps - too cool!

Do you like any of these ideas and/or do you have any boards on pinterest that I can steal ideas from!?

Floral Boudoir

Despite not owning my own house, I am kind of obsessed with home ware and buying bits and pieces for my bedroom. My room is pretty small, so when I select colours and items I do have to remember that (back away from the ombre fake croc chest of drawers). Currently my room is a pale blue, with one feature wall - a swirly silver pattern on a pale blue back ground - and lots of white accessories/furniture.

When my room is tidier and sorted (ebay stuff everywhere at the mo!) I will probably do a room tour/guide to living in small rooms haha (my best friend also has a tiny room, but hers is very well organised and the layout is perfect, so I might see if I can show hers on here too!). In the meantime, I  thought I would show you some new purchases from TKMaxx that I got off the reduced shelf (oh yeeeeah).

Blue flower pattern cushion - Was £25.00 - £8.00
White flower names cushion - Was £16.99 - £5.00
Round vase with fake white flowers - Was £14.99 - £7.00

I had a bit of a gathering with my friends & used the flowers as a table decoration. The candles are 3 old salsa jars (yup, i love nachos) with tea lights in them and a yellow ribbon tied round.

I also got these Topshop bracelets in the sale. The rose gold spiked one is deffo my favorite at the mo!

If you have bought any new home ware or know of any great places, let me know in the comments. I know some of you are just as obsessed as me...gotcha!
