Sunday snaps.

I have officially broke up for Christmas! YAYs. To start my Christmas holiday I went with what Sunday's are for and did sweet FA...

I finally sorted a frame for my Emily Burns Art print. You can see all of her work here. The frame is from Wilkinsons, currently just £3.00.

I snuggled up with some pineapple socks on, a Christmas candle and YouTube!

Then had some dinner, my dad cooked some amazing seafood, which was b-e-a-utiful.

And I am still currently chilling, listening to my band of the mo, Haim.

What have you all been up to this Sunday?

Recent snaps

01. Shopping way too much, buying essentials like a flower crown - doh
02. I went to Liverpool with my best friends from University to celebrate two of their birthdays and it was just the best weekend ever. Those girls are da bomb.
03. Photo from Liverpool, which is one of my favorite cities ever
04. I always try and get my friends to start a band (we can't sing or dance) and this is our draft album cover
05. More shopping! I am off to Croatia at the end of the week (eek) so bought lots of sunscreen
06. I went to Worcester races to celebrate my gurl Emily's birthday (babe in the white blazer) with a bunch of homegals. Literally, such a good day and I won a few times too!
07. (Don't judge me) more shopping! Got these socks from Primark for £2 and I am obsessed with them.
08. Quote snapped from my computer screen. Could not love this quote more if I tried. One of those I must tweet/get tattooed/live my life by quotes (I just did the tweet part...so far!)

Although I have been busy at work I have certainly made time for plenty of play outside of the office! I'm the type of person that is always busy as I'm always trying to fit in seeing my family, friends and boyfriend. A favorite quote of mine that sums up my outlook on life and ultimately my social calendar is "The best things in life aren't things"

Instagram Snaps

IT'S CHRISTMAS EVE!! AHHHHHHHHH!! I am such a fan of Christmas, if you couldn't tell already... It's hard to blog during the festive period as there is so much to get done like eat mince pies, drink mulled wine or winter pimms (you have to try this if you haven't), buy and wrap gifts, see your fiends and family, burn Christmas candles, decorate trees and rooms, write and post cards and just get all christmassy up in here. So, I decided to share some recent Instagram snaps with y'all, so you can see some of what I have been upto recently! Hope you enjoy, you can follow me @Emmylouisejane if you want to! Merry Christmas!

My chosen Christmas cards from M&S - Some gifts I have wrapped - The pancakes my dad made for breakfast (not all mine!) - Mulled wine at London's Winter Wonderland - Joy Christmas decoration - My labels from Paperchase - A hazelnut hot chocolate and muffin from Starbucks after a successful shopping trip - December Glossybox - Posing with my christmassy jumper and hat

Class of 2012

Its been a busy few days! It was my graduation on Wednesday, so we travelled down to Bournemouth on the Tuesday night and stayed in a 'hotel'. I say 'hotel' because it was a bit retro and it was run by this man who was completely bald, but had THE most amount of back/neck hair I have ever seen (truly bizarre).

The graduation ceremony was really official, but it was great. The walking across the stage part was sooo nerve racking! I basically forgot to bow to the 'high chancellor god of the realms of bournemouth' or whatever he was called and sort of nodded at him like 'Alright mate?' which was a bit embarrassing, but i didn't fall which was a bonus! There were some great names at the ceremony, including 'Woo Woo' (sounded like the lady announcing the names was cheering for the previous graduate when she said it), 'John Wayne' and the best.... 'Prince Baby' not kidding.

After the ceremony, there was champagne and canapes plus a lot of photo taking. My dad insisted on taking me on some kind of beach photo shoot which was hilarious. We then headed to London (where my dad works) to have some cocktails and food at this amazing Mexican place called Wahaca at the Westfield shopping centre. Overall - great day.

Pose for my camera...

I saw a status on Facebook by a boy that read "what the hell is instagram?!" to which another boy replied "You don't need it mate! For all I can see it is a place where girls take photos of themselves, food and animals" on that note, here's my recent snaps...
