Everyone is getting the chop!

The new year means a new look for many people and it seems like one of the biggest trends to kick-start 2014 is the mid-length chop. After seeing some of my favorite blogger/youtubers embrace the trend, I have to say I am a little tempted...

I've been 'growing' my hair forever now and all I ever seem to be left with is a disappointing straw-like barnett. I think it might be time I gave the ends of my hair a little life before I continue the quest for Rapunzel locks. A bit of a chop might be in order - watch this space!

Are you tempted to go for the chop? Or are you a long-converted mid-hair lover already?

  4. I think it looks lovely, my sister just had hers chopped from mid back length to shoulder length this morning and she looks great! I'm not sure I'd do it though as I have naturally curly hair and when it's shorter it just makes it hard to straighten xx

    1. Ah yeah, I guess it curls up even shorter. Lily Pebbles hair is a good length, she's naturally curly but straightened it looks wicked.

  5. I love shorter hair! But I've been growin mine out of a long bob for so long and I've got really attached to it. It could do with an inch or so off but I can't bare to see it go! I wish I could though, Lilly's hair looks so healthy now she's cut it!xx

    1. Same! I feel like I have come so far haha. I think mine is stuck at this length though and the ends are looking a bit rough, so a little chop will be a good move I hope :/

  8. I had really short hair for quite a few years so now I’m just loving the long locks again. But I love a good mid length hair look!

  9. You really make it appear really easy along with your presentation but I find this matter to be really something that I think I would never understand. It sort of feels too complicated and very huge for me. I am having a look ahead on your subsequent publish, I will try to get the dangle of it!

  10. Hey Emmy I just found your blog and I think it's adorable! I've been thinking about cutting my hair for ages but whenever I do it seems to make me look so much younger which is awkward, not just getting ID'd for films but apparently I need proof of age to buy Sharpie markers as apparently I don't look 16 (I'm 21 -_-) haha
It's always nice to have a change in spring, I'm sure if you decide to cut it you'll look lovely either way

  11. I actually chopped mine off a few weeks before Christmas, it just had to be done. I'm really lazy when it comes to hair so it takes so much less time, I'm so happy I did it, I don't miss those 4 inches in the slightest!
